FRANKIE "Guns" BENNETT is one of the most notorious members in our Model Car Mafia. He's a famous man. He's so famous, he's infamous. In fact, he's so infamous, no one has ever even heard of the guy. When he sets a model on the table, you know that there is a very good chance that this thing is going to take out every model within a 23.7-foot radius. This is one of our most dangerous members. You need to grow a pair of eyes in the back of your head just to keep a lookout for this guy. He is one bad-ass model car builder.
Frank is best known for his bigger-than-life paint jobs...but when you get past the gleam of the paint, you start to see much more to his builds. Frank is one of the most meticulous model car builders you will meet. Frank takes NO SHORT CUTS in his art of model car building. His craftsmanship is second to none, and it shows. Frank builds his models using the advice given to him by the late Augie Hiscano. " You build every part of a model as if it was a model onto itself", Augie told him.
Many of Franks builds in the past were Pro Mods, but over the past year or so, he has been putting out a few old-school drag cars like his "Green Machine" Vette. As of late, he has been coming out with some of the most creative and well-built sportsman-type circle track race cars. Every one of his models represents the best example of model car craftsmanship you will ever see.
To top it all off, Frank is the kind of guy that will tell you how he does it and do whatever he can to help his fellow model car builder out in any way. That is what the Model Car Mafia is all about.
