Matt "BOX" Conte is the local model car guy that everyone LOVES to HATE!! That might be because of his passion for the hobby and just wanting to make it better for builders everywhere. Or could it be that he is like "Darth Vader*" on the bridge of the "USS Enterprise"?
Somebody WILL get hurt.
If we could get Matt to finish a friggin' model one of these days, you would find that he is a top builder. His underground hide out / model car building complex is where you can find him...alone. Very few have been allowed to see it, and were blindfolded before they were brought there to hide its location.
His biggest claim to fame is upsetting those that wish to be bigger than they could ever possibly be. One of his quotes is, " There are those that can do, and those that think that they can do, and then there are those who do, but it ends up looking like a rotten vegetable."

Matt likes to build all sorts of model cars. He is best known for his sportsman-type drag racing and roundy-round race cars. Also, the older NASCARs from a time when stock cars LOOKED LIKE STOCK CARS! He has a few new builds in the works that may or may not make a difference in the future of this great hobby we all have grown to love.
